Are we an all-ages chat and website?
Yes! Users aged 13 and older are welcome to register and use all features of MusicKraze. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all our members, which is why we have strict rules and moderation in place.
Is MusicKraze really free to use?
Absolutely. The core experience of MusicKraze—including chatting, creating a profile, sharing music, and using our Trackdrop app—is 100% free and ad-free. All in-site currency (Gold and Rubies) is earned over time through activity like chatting and participating in events. No out-of-pocket money is ever needed to enjoy the full community experience. We do offer optional cosmetic items and a VIP membership in our store, which can be purchased with your earned currency, but these are not required to enjoy the community.
How do I earn Gold and Rubies?
You earn Gold simply by being an active part of the community! Chatting, posting, participating in events, and bringing friends to the site will increase your Gold balance. You can then use Gold in the store or convert it to Rubies for more exclusive items.
What do I do if someone is harassing me?
We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment from users or staff. If you experience any issues, please visit our Report an Issue page immediately. Remember to take screenshots as evidence so we can take swift and fair action.
Is the Trackdrop music app legal and safe?
Yes, 100%. The Trackdrop app is built using official, public APIs from services like YouTube and Spotify. This ensures all music is sourced legally and ethically, allowing you to listen with peace of mind.
Why was my message or image removed?
To keep the community safe for everyone, we use advanced technology, including the OpenAI Moderation API for text and other tools for scanning images. If a message or image violates our rules (e.g., contains NSFW content or hateful language), it is automatically flagged and removed. This is a key part of our commitment to a safe, drama-free vibe.
How do I customize my profile?
You can customize almost everything on your profile! Visit your profile page and look for “Edit” buttons to change your avatar, cover photo, profile music, colors, and more. For a detailed walkthrough of all the options, please check out our Extensive How-To Guide.
How do I get staff?
The short answer is: you don’t. Staff is picked very seriously by our owner. He picks people that are 17+, respectful, and helpful around the community. The best way to get noticed for a potential staff position is to not ask for it, but rather to be helpful and chat a lot.
How do I add a song to my profile?
You MUST legally own the song on MP3. Then, you can upload it from the chat store under the “Profile Song” section.
Why did you make this site? And why is it free?
I made this site to give people an alternative to what I found to be really bad chats owned by mostly bad people. I figured if I didn’t want to join these sites, there must be people like me who wanted to chat but be a part of a good community. The reason it’s free is simple: I want to make the biggest and best chat site online. I will make money off the traffic and ads—let the users keep their money.
